The position is responsible for performance tracking, contract management (renewals and exits), attendance monitoring, payroll support, employee relations, and disciplinary management. The goal is to ensure staff remain engaged, compliant, and productive, aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement and monitor the staff performance management system across all departments. ย ย 
  • Coordinate and track quarterly and annual performance appraisals, ensuring timely completion and documentation. ย ย 
  • Support line managers in providing feedback, coaching, and developing performance improvement plans (PIPs). ย ย 
  • Administer staff contract renewals, confirmations, and exit processes in line with company policy. ย ย 
  • Manage leave and attendance records for confirmed staff, track absenteeism trends, and escalate issues promptly. ย ย 
  • Provide accurate payroll data on salary adjustments, deductions, overtime, and absenteeism. ย ย 
  • Handle employee relations, including grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters. ย ย 
  • Ensure organizational compliance with HR policies, labor laws, and statutory requirements. ย ย 
  • Design and implement staff engagement and motivation programs to boost morale and retention. ย ย 
  • Maintain accurate HR records on performance, attendance, contracts, and disciplinary actions. ย ย 
  • Prepare and present periodic HR reports on productivity, welfare, and compliance to the Director.
Requirements:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field. ย ย 
  • CHRP certification is an added advantage. ย ย 
  • 2โ€“3 yearsโ€™ experience in HR operations, performance management, and employee relations. ย ย 
  • Solid understanding of HR metrics, performance appraisals, and disciplinary processes. ย ย 
  • Knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and compliance requirements. ย ย 
  • Experience working with payroll and attendance management systems preferred. ย ย 
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and reporting skills. ย ย 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ย ย 
  • Ability to balance firmness with empathy in staff management. ย ย 
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism. ย ย 
  • Excellent conflict resolution and employee engagement abilities. ย ย 
  • Results-oriented with strong attention to detail.
