On behalf of our client in the Accounting & Auditing industry, we are
seeking a qualified Tax & Compliance Manager to be based in Dar es
Salaam, Tanzania. The role involves managing all tax matters, ensuring
statutory compliance, handling VAT refunds, audits, transfer pricing
documentation, and interpreting tax laws. Candidates must have a
Postgraduate Degree or Advanced Diploma in Tax Management (or
related field), at least 5 years’ experience, and proficiency in Microsoft
Suite and tax automation tools.
Responsibilities:
- ✓ Manage all tax related issues and documentation for the client
and for the company.
- ✓ Effectively allocate, monitor and delegate assignments to
subordinates.
- ✓ Manage all VAT refunds, compliances, Tax Audits, Examinations
and Objections.
- ✓ Manage all transfer pricing documentation.
- ✓ Understand and interpret Tax Laws.
- ✓ Conduct / Attend / Participate in internal training sessions.
- ✓ Attend and participate in committee meetings where required.
- ✓ Any other Tax & Compliance related tasks assigned by the
employer
Requirements:
- ✓ Post graduate Degree or Advanced Diploma in Tax Management or
any related field.
- ✓ Working experience: Minimum of 5 years.
- ✓ Proficient in Microsoft Suit.
- ✓ Proficient in Tax & Compliance automation tools and systems.
