On behalf of our client, we are recruiting a competent and detail- oriented Accounts to handle day-to-day financial operations while providing essential administrative support. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance, accuracy in reporting, and smooth office operations.

Responsibilities:
  • ๐˜ˆ๐˜ค๐˜ค๐˜ฐ๐˜ถ๐˜ฏ๐˜ต๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜จ ๐˜๐˜ถ๐˜ฏ๐˜ค๐˜ต๐˜ช๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ๐˜ด (70%) ย ย 
  • โœ“ Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reconciliations. ย ย 
  • โœ“ Process statutory returns including VAT, WHT, PAYE, NHIF, NSSF, and HELB to ensure compliance. ย ย 
  • โœ“ Manage petty cash, including disbursements, transaction recording, reconciliations, and filing of supporting documents. ย ย 
  • โœ“ Prepare weekly accounts receivable reports and maintain updated payment trackers for all clients. ย ย 
  • โœ“ Handle accounts payable by reconciling creditor balances and ensuring accurate posting in accounting software. ย ย 
  • โœ“ Process invoicing, including pro forma approvals, finalization, and recording of payments. ย ย 
  • โœ“ Review documentation for clients purchasing on credit and liaise with the Finance Manager for approvals. ย ย 
  • โœ“ Calculate and process commissions for the sales team and support payroll-related accounting. ย ย 
  • โœ“ Support monthly reporting, budget monitoring, and other financial operations as assigned. ๐˜ˆ๐˜ฅ๐˜ฎ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜ช๐˜ด๐˜ต๐˜ณ๐˜ข๐˜ต๐˜ช๐˜ท๐˜ฆ ๐˜๐˜ถ๐˜ฏ๐˜ค๐˜ต๐˜ช๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ๐˜ด (30%) ย ย 
  • โœ“ Prepare, proofread, and edit reports, correspondence, and spreadsheets with accuracy and timeliness. ย ย 
  • โœ“ Handle incoming calls and general enquiries, including coordination with field officers. ย ย 
  • โœ“ Organize and maintain efficient filing systems for both financial and administrative records. ย ย 
  • โœ“ Oversee maintenance of office equipment and coordinate repairs or servicing. ย ย 
  • โœ“ Arrange travel logistics and assist with preparation of staff expense reports.
Requirements:
  • โœ“Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. ย ย 
  • โœ“ CPA-K qualification a ๐— ๐˜‚๐˜€๐˜. ย ย 
  • โœ“ Minimum of 3-5 yearsโ€™ experience in accounting ย ย 
  • โœ“ Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or other ERP systems. ย ย 
  • โœ“ Strong knowledge of Kenyan tax laws and statutory compliance. ย ย 
  • โœ“ Excellent organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. ย ย 
  • โœ“ Strong interpersonal and communication skills. ย ย 
  • โœ“ Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines. ย ย 
  • โœ“ Integrity, discretion, and a proactive approach to problem solving.
