GARDENER / GENERAL LABOURER

Responsibilities
Maintain lawns, gardens and landscaped areas
Plant and care for trees, herbs and vegetables
Operate and maintain irrigation systems
Water plants and lawns as scheduled
Maintain ponds and water features
Clean and maintain swimming pools
Keep pathways, verandahs and outdoor areas clean
Maintain BBQ areas, garages and surrounding grounds
Manage waste collection, segregation and composting
Feed and maintain ducks and animal housing
Prepare outdoor areas for guest arrivals
Support general repairs and maintenance
Clean and safely store tools and equipment
Assist with guest activity setups when required
Provide security cover when assigned
Report maintenance issues, damage and equipment faults
Perform other duties assigned by management
Skills & Requirements
Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, farming or general labour
Practical knowledge of gardening and grounds maintenance
Ability to use basic gardening and maintenance tools
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
Good understanding of cleanliness and workplace safety
Reliable, disciplined and hardworking
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
Good teamwork and communication skills
